Auditions for the Fall Semester
ALL RBCO Members are REQUIRED to do a “check-in” audition. Your position is not at risk – but the conductors want to check in on your progress. If you did not do the May auditions, you MUST sign up for these August auditions.
No current Symphony members are required to audition UNLESS you want to move up from Violin 1 to Violin 2.

Sunday, August 30 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm

12:00pm to 12:45pm POTLUCK outside the Women’s Club (where we usually have snacks)
12:45pm to 1:45pm ALL PARENT/ STUDENT MEETING – in the Women’s Club – please plan to attend as this meeting happens only once per semester
2:00pm to 3:15pm Symphony Orchestra full tutti rehearsal with Russell Steinberg, Artistic Director / Ruth Borun Concert Orchestra sectional rehearsals* with the coaches
3:15pm to 3:45pm Snack Break!
3:45pm to 5:00pm RBCO full tutti rehearsal with Jorge Padron, Assistant Conductor/ SO sectional rehearsals* with the coaches

Auditions for the Spring Semester
No orchestra members are required to re-audition unless you want to move from Violin 1 to Violin 2, or move from RBCO up to Symphony.

PAYMENT PORTAL
To update your contact information or make an audition or tuition payment, please access the PARENT/STUDENT PORTAL by clicking the blue button below.
You do NOT need to set up your own account on the portal – we have already done this for you.
The first time you access the Parent/Student Portal, you will need to login with your HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD EMAIL ADDRESS. (If you are not sure which email that is, just email a question!) and use the temporary password “password123” (you will be able to customize your password once you enter the portal).
Once into the Portal, you should see a welcome page with the name of your student(s). You only need to worry about two of the buttons on this page:
– VIEW/EDIT PROFILE: This is where you will update information about your student’s birthdate, school, grade, pronouns, number of years of instrument and private instruction, etc. Please make sure this information is up-to-date at all times!
– MAKE A PAYMENT: Your student will be automatically enrolled in a “program” (meaning a LAYO semester) – so you can ignore the enrollment buttons. Just click “Make a Payment” to see any outstanding balance for audition or tuition fees.
