Announcing our Shostakovich Fund for our first of two LAYO 25th Anniversary Concerts

Help make it possible for LAYO to program the Shostakovich 5th Symphony, joined by alums onstage.This is our showcase piece for our 25th Anniversary Concert November 25, 2024 at Ambassador Auditorium. One of the most emotionally thrilling pieces for orchestra, the Shostakovich 5th requires highly advanced musicianship that will demonstrate the growth of our orchestra since its inception.

What better way to celebrate our 25th anniversary than to reconnect with our students now going back a full generation? Many are now professional musicians. Others have exciting careers in every imaginable field—neural biology, astronomy, business, education, literature, psychology…the list goes on and on. Every alum has a remarkable story. Shostakovich Fund contributors will:
  • Be featured in our concert program and online 25th Anniversary Book.
  • Receive 2 complimentary tickets in a reserved section at our November 25 Anniversary Concert
  • Receive Invitations to meet alums at a dinner event Sunday November 24
